ZeroCFI Energy is an innovation hub with an intent to introduce a highly efficient, low cost high yield green-hydrogen extraction device for energy and transport.
Our Story
Around 2001, we begun research into alternative energy.
These days, there's lots of pioneering companies that are hell bent on generating hydrogen to become key leaders in this new "ionic age".
Generating green-hydrogen efficiently in large volumes, however, is somewhat challenging.
The transportation and storage of hydrogen is prompting some to consider other options too; like electric vehicles...and if you're travelling short distances and don't mind waiting around for recharges or battery swaps, then this may be the best way to go if the power generation is from a green source.
Our Approach
Building on our understanding of various fields of knowledge, from quantum physics to electromagnetics, we started working on and building "high efficiency" energy production prototypes in 2008 and we now find ourselves building our fourth hydrogen based prototype that will generate great volumes of green-hydrogen.
This may even eliminate the need to have hydrogen storage tanks on-site or attached to vehicles.
In 2023, we purchased a 12.5 metre coach to work with partners and build our high-yield green-hydrogen extraction device. It's more complicated than we first thought as we needed high-precision specialised CNC machines and advanced materials to build the components required to produce high volumes of hydrogen. We’ll get there though, as we know exactly what we need to do.
Once we’ve achieved out initial targets in the workshop for our ultra-compact green-hydrogen power plant, we’ll be transferring that technology, along with a suitable electric motor and small battery bank for intermittent high burst power draws, to the coach as a “drop-in replacement” for diesel engines.
As we're based in Western Australia, we'll be predominantly working with the mining industry but we're also open to other companies who are keen to get involved.
